The 2018 Campus Master Plan suggests an outer ring to the Drillfield (Infinite Loop), to link existing and future developments on the campus. The Loop will straddle the Multi-Modal Transit Facility (MMTF, currently under construction) and Cowgill Lawn, on the Northwest side of Cowgill Hall. This part of campus holds some of the most iconic modern buildings of the campus, with a number of new academic and research facilities under construction. At the MMTF, four major means of mobility intersect: bus, car, bike, and pedestrians. While buses, cars, and bike lanes are accommodated, bike parking is not yet considered.
